Guru Sri Tegh Bahadur Sahib was the fifth son of Hagovind and was succeeded as Guru after the death of Harikrishna Rai, the eighth Guru of the Sikhs. He built Anandpur Sahib and started living here.
गुरु श्री तेग बहादुर साहिब, हगोविंद के पांचवें पुत्र थे और सिखों के आठवें गुरु हरिकृष्ण राय के निधन के बाद उनको गुरुबनाया गया। इन्होंने आनंदपुर साहिब का निर्माण किया और यहीं पर रहने लगे थे।
